Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to the AYNI app ("AYNI"). By downloading or using AYNI, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. What AYNI is — and what it is not

AYNI is an AI dashcam and driving awareness app. It is assistive only:

• AYNI is not an autonomous or self-driving system.
• AYNI is not a collision prevention or collision avoidance system.
• AYNI does not replace safe driving, your mirrors, your own road awareness, or your legal responsibility as a driver.

2. You are always responsible

The driver is always and fully responsible for the vehicle, for watching the road, and for complying with traffic laws. Set AYNI up before you start driving. Do not interact with the app while driving. If you need to adjust anything, stop somewhere safe first.

3. Detections are estimates

AI detections, distances and alerts are estimates produced from a single camera. They may be inaccurate, delayed or incomplete, and can be affected by lighting, weather, camera angle, motion blur, road conditions and model limitations. Never rely on AYNI as your only safety measure, and never assume that the absence of an alert means the road is clear.

4. Your recordings

Recordings you create with AYNI are yours and are stored on your device. You are responsible for how you use and share them, and for complying with local laws on recording and on mounting a device in your vehicle. AYNI makes no promise that any recording will be fit for — or accepted for — any legal, insurance or evidentiary purpose.

5. AYNI Pro subscriptions

• AYNI Pro is an auto-renewable subscription purchased through your Apple Account.
• Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions).
• Refunds, where applicable, are handled by Apple under Apple's policies.
• Purchases made through the App Store are also subject to Apple's terms.

6. Changes to features

Pro features may change, improve or be updated over time. Features may be added, modified or removed as the app evolves.

7. No guarantee of service

AYNI is provided without any guarantee of perfect detection or uninterrupted, error-free operation. Performance can be affected by your device's condition, temperature, storage, iOS version and other factors.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AYNI is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of fitness for a particular purpose.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AYNI and its creators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for losses arising from reliance on detections or alerts, from unavailability of the app, or from the use or loss of recordings. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Termination

You can stop using AYNI at any time by deleting the app. Features or the app itself may be discontinued or modified.

11. Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use AYNI after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
