Frequently asked questions
Is AYNI a replacement for safe driving?
No. AYNI is assistive only. It does not replace attentive driving, your mirrors, your own road awareness, or your responsibility as a driver. Always keep your eyes on the road.
Does AYNI upload my videos?
No. Incident videos are stored locally on your iPhone unless you export or share them yourself. Future cloud features would be disclosed separately and reflected in the Privacy Policy first.
How do I cancel AYNI Pro?
Subscriptions are managed through your Apple Account settings: open Settings → your name → Subscriptions → AYNI and tap Cancel Subscription. To avoid the next charge, cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Refunds, where applicable, are handled by Apple.
How do I report a bug?
Email support@aynicam.app. Including your iPhone model, iOS version and a short description of what happened (screenshots or a screen recording help a lot) makes fixes much faster.
Why can AI detections be wrong?
Lighting, weather, camera angle, motion blur, road conditions and model limitations can all affect detections. Distances and alerts are estimates from a single camera — treat them as assistance, never as certainty.
