AyniCam release notes
Read the current AyniCam 2.0 release summary, availability and limitations. Separate shipped features from simulator demonstrations and future tests.
Current public release: 2.0
Apple lists version 2.0, released on 15 September 2026. The distribution record identifies build 6. This page summarizes published release information; it is not a list of planned capabilities. The current official App Store listing is the reference for subsequent updates.
Maps for Free and Pro
Version 2.0 introduces 3D Maps with mapped roads and buildings plus estimated camera-detected objects. Destination search, route guidance and local weather are available on the Maps screen. Maps and weather require internet access; coverage and available route detail vary. These maps replace the older separate Pro-only 3D View experience.
Views and controls
The release improves camera follow through turns and returning to Maps, switching between Camera, Maps, Virtual View and Parking, fullscreen Maps and launch controls. About AYNI provides version information, plan and support links. Segmentation remains a separate Pro capability; map geometry and camera masks are different outputs.
Recording improvements
The published release notes describe automatic recovery from recording interruptions and clearer storage warnings. Incident recording still depends on an active supported camera workflow, permissions and free storage. The Free and Pro clip limits remain described on the recording and plans pages. A recovery improvement is not a promise of uninterrupted background recording.
What the visuals show
The version-2 Maps image used on this website is a real interface capture from release preparation with a labeled simulated scene. It demonstrates layout, not real traffic detection accuracy. Older short simulator demos retain their labels and may differ in controls. No night, battery or multi-device benchmark is implied.
Corrections and future work
Website documentation was updated on 20 September 2026 to distinguish public features, recording limits and online services more clearly. Unverified device tests and future comparison articles are not announced as shipped app functions. Contact support if an instruction does not match your installed version.
