Mapped roads and buildings, approximate detected objects, destination search and weather share one driving view.
Street context
Roads and buildings come from map data, with coverage depending on the area. Supported camera detections are placed approximately in that context. The map is not a camera-built model of every visible facade. Read the 2.0.1 Maps release notes, see how camera AI relates to the map, and check which map and weather requests use the network.
A view that adapts
The map moves closer at lower speed and smoothly opens out as speed increases. Pinch to adjust, explore by panning or rotating, and use the recenter control to return to the driving view.
Plan before setting off
Search for a destination and open weather from the map controls before you drive. Map loading, destination search, routing and weather use online services. These network features are separate from the on-device detection and local recording.
Distinguish the data sources
Roads and buildings are supplied by map data. Supported objects placed on the map are estimates from camera detections. A building appearing while camera access is interrupted does not prove the camera is recording. Check the camera and recording state separately.
Check the current interface
The AyniCam 2.0 simulator capture shows the released Maps layout with simulated content. It is useful for finding controls, not judging real traffic accuracy. Search for a destination and review the route while stopped. If map coverage or network access is missing, do not infer that local AI is also unavailable.
