AyniCam
Can an iPhone show a Tesla-style driving visualization?
See how AyniCam brings detected road objects into iPhone Maps and Virtual View, what the Tesla-style comparison means, and where the limits are.

A familiar visual idea on a different device
If you like the way a Tesla display represents nearby vehicles, AyniCam offers an iPhone take on the idea of visualizing detected road objects. Its camera AI feeds Maps and Virtual View. The resemblance concerns presentation, not equivalent sensing or driving capability. Tesla’s own manual describes a vehicle-integrated road visualization; AyniCam is an independent phone app and is not affiliated with Tesla.
Maps or Virtual View: choose your context
Choose Maps when streets, mapped buildings and geographic position help explain the scene. Choose Virtual View for a simplified arrangement of detected objects. Both depend on the selected detector and the same forward-facing phone camera. They are different presentations of information, not additional cameras. The map does not turn a hidden vehicle into a detected one, and neither view supplies rear-camera or 360-degree coverage.
Read detections as estimates
A visible object can disappear when it is obscured, poorly lit or outside the camera’s view. Distance, placement and body direction are approximate; a polished 3D symbol does not make them precise measurements. An empty display does not prove the road is clear. AyniCam never controls steering, braking or acceleration. Use your direct view and mirrors, and do not use the display to judge a safe gap or a blind spot.
A useful check while safely parked
Mount the iPhone so the camera sees forward without obstructing your view. Select a detector, then compare Camera, Virtual View and Maps while stationary. Notice which elements come from the camera and which belong to the map. Check map connectivity and learn recentering before your trip. The website’s simulated 3D demo helps explain the interface; it cannot demonstrate detection accuracy, response time or performance in real traffic.
What AyniCam adds to your dashboard
The appeal is bringing map context, local object detection and incident recording together on a compatible iPhone. Free and Pro include Maps with detector models; optional Pro features have their own limits. Compare the plans and setup guide, then try the view that fits your needs. This is a way to explore AI-assisted driving visuals without installing a vehicle-integrated system, while keeping the driver fully responsible for driving.
