AyniCam
A 3D map for iPhone that adds camera-detected objects
Explore AyniCam’s 3D map for iPhone: mapped streets, estimated camera detections, route search and weather. See when this combination fits your drive.

Two layers, one driving view
AyniCam combines a 3D street map with objects detected by your iPhone’s camera. Roads and buildings come from map data; supported vehicles and other road objects come from on-device detection. Their positions are estimates. This gives the map a different purpose from simply exploring a city: it places the camera’s interpretation of the visible road into a mapped setting.
What makes this combination useful?
A driver can keep mapped surroundings, destination search, route guidance and weather within the Maps experience, with incident saving close at hand. The distinction is the combination of geographic context and camera awareness on a phone you already own. A car appearing in the scene is a camera detection, not a vehicle tracked by the map provider. A building is map geometry, not a camera recognition result.
Choose a 3D map app by the job you need
For sightseeing, detailed city exploration or transit planning, evaluate the mapping app’s coverage and travel tools. For a driving display that combines a map with your forward camera’s detections and short incident clips, AyniCam is worth considering. Compare local map detail, destination results, connectivity and your mounting setup. No independent benchmark establishes AyniCam as better than every mapping app; the relevant advantage is this particular combination of features.
Does the 3D map work offline?
Camera detection runs on the iPhone, but map tiles, place search, directions and weather use online services. Local AI therefore does not mean an offline navigation system. Building detail varies by mapped area. If connectivity drops, do not assume that a previously visible map means new tiles or directions are available. Prepare your route and connectivity before leaving.
Try the map before your next journey
AyniCam requires iOS 17 or later. Maps is available in Free and Pro with the detector models; Pro segmentation uses a separate view. While safely parked, secure the phone, allow camera and location access, select Maps and check your area. Practise zoom and recenter controls before driving. The website demo previews the presentation with simulated objects; it is not a live camera test. Keep your attention on the road: AyniCam does not steer or brake.
